White light
The color of light is one of the five factors affecting lighting. Depending on its color, we are able to group the light in monochromatic light, white light or RGB light. Each of these three groups will contribute with different characteristics that we will have to take advantage of for inspecting the objects.
In DCM Sistemes, we have available all references in white light, and these are identified as follows:
| Icon | Colour | Wavelength | Code |
|---|---|---|---|
| White | _ | W00 |
Differently from monochromatic light, the white light is formed by many components and it is the result of the overlapping of all colors from visible spectrum. Usually used with RGB cameras.
Always we use a color camera, light should be white or RGB.
