Lighting types
The angle at which the light falls into the object (lighting zones) is, probably, the most important of the factors affecting lighting. The angle of incidence is determined by the plane of the camera, which separates the lighting in two main areas: Front lighting, where the light originates from the same side as the camera and backlighting, where the light is situated behind the object and addressed directly to the camera.

Object
Bright field
Any illumination that can be directly reflected into the camera.
Dark field
Any illumination that can not be directly reflected into the camera.
DCM Sistemes has available seven types of illumination that makes the processing easy in certain aspects of inspection and that, depending on the type of light, highlight some characterisctics of the object to be inspected.
However, the same lighting system can illuminate in multiple ways depending on its final placement or if you add accessories or modifiers.
