In high-speed applications, lighting response is a key factor. Reliably synchronizing shooting with the capture and activation of the lighting equipment is critical to obtain the best quality images.
Inductance is a property of an electrical circuit that opposes a change in current. The longer and more complex the wiring between the strobe controller and the LEDs, the greater the inductance and therefore the longer the delay between the trigger signal and the activation of the lighting. With the iBlueDrive technology, the controller is integrated within the equipment itself, which reduces the total inductance of the installation wiring and increases the speed of system response.
The high speed control system that incorporates our electronic design avoids oscillations in the current of the equipment providing a stable output throughout the lighting activation time. This system also allows to control that there are no current peaks, thus extending the life of the LEDs.
