iBlueDrive Box
To make changes to the factory settings of the iBlueDrive lights you need to connect them to a computer or a PLC.
The iBlueDrive Box is an interface device that allows communication with the iBlueDrive lights.
With only one cable you can keep a two-way communication and transmit the pulse.
With the iBlueDrive Box you can change settings or monitor your lights while they're working, allowing you to easily make adjustments online.
Additionally, it provides electrical isolation from the trigger signal and from the communications port of the control equipment. You can connect up to 20 iBlueDrive devices to a single iBlueDrive Box for individual control with simple wiring
(Bulk Trigger) Pulse Train
If your camera doesn't have multi-shot capability, you can now get multiple shots with the iBlueDrive Box.
With the new Bulk Trigger feature, you can generate pulse trains for multi-shot inspections with:
- Up to a total of 16 shots.
- With time between shots from 1 to 2,200ms.
Auto Trigger and Trigger Test functions
You no longer need an external trigger source to test a certain lighting setup. The iBlueDrive Box can generate single shots or pulse trains manually or automatically thanks to new features.
The Trigger Test function makes the iBlueDrive Box generate in its output the previously configured pulse sequence, which can be from 1 to 16 consecutive pulses separated between 1 and 2,200ms.
When the Auto Trigger function is activated, the iBlueDrive Box Driver will generate the configured pulse sequence on its output. The time between sequences is configurable and can vary between 100 and 32,000 ms. As in the Trigger Test function, the sequence can contain from 1 to 16 pulses.
3-pulse sequence with 300ms time between pulses
3-pulse sequence with 300ms time between pulses, with 1 second interval between sequences
Other iBlueDrive Box features
An input enable checkbox has been included so that it is not necessary to disconnect the iBlueDrive Box from the trigger signal to isolate the lights.
Save your iBlueDrive Box settings with Backups so you can restore them at any time.
And remember that iBlueDrive lights don't need an external controller. If you just want to set up the lights, you can remove the iBlueDrive Box after you finish setting up your installation to use it in a new project.
